Warren - it would seem to be short odds that my chisels (which didn't come from tooltique) have an identical grind on them, and tooltique's grinding wheel has so much influence that it would put the exact same profile on Bode's low use IH sorby chisels - from thousands of miles away.

I think you confuse "you haven't seen" in a marples catalog or a french book with "wasn't done" by some of the more highly regarded makers in England.

You're welcome to be confused, but you're incorrect in this case. The chisels show no sign of use, match low use or unused chisels in two other places, and you're grasping at marples catalog pages and digging in instead of saying "maybe that maker made them that way".
