Subject:
On teaching of any method

Jim Matthews
If instruction required demonstrating ALL methods, it would take too long.

The inestimable DC and others must choose what they show, and importantly, what they don't illustrate, for clarity and brevity.

I have never heard one of the Big Dogs dismiss any given approach, or claim their way is the superior choice. "You could do X that way, but this works for me."

We each of us must navigate the varied offerings to find what is practical.

For me, Jim Tolpin hits on all cylinders.

The dulcet tones of DC's patrician delivery make it seem as if even I might accomplish the near impossible.
