Subject:
Some of George's Old Work

David Weaver
It's not too often that George's work shows up online. There are a few examples, and I've been browsing online off and on for years in an attempt to find an unknowing seller unloading one of his flat top acoustic guitars. No luck.

At any rate, elderly instruments turned up something of George's from his days in the instrument shop at williamsburg.

It's not particularly fancy by fine work standards (though the peghead is, and the rosette is 3d instead of just an arranged rosette cut to fit a pre-made slot and dropped in).

I have no idea what one would play on a guitar like this, or I wouldn't post this until after I bought it. It's incredibly cheap.
