Subject:
Water based black paint on chair

Jack Guzman from Maine
This is in reference to my previous post. I bought target coatings black paint and tried application with a brush. I used a latex dark gray primer. I rubbed the primed surface with a fine abrasive pad to smooth the surface. I painted it with a purdy sash brush. The paint dries quick but there are no brush marks. The paint self levels before drying. It looks good. Not as nice as a sprayed surface but it works for this chair.I still need to buy the gold paint for detailing but once I get that part done I will post a picture of the chair.
