Corner cupboard about done *PIC*

Bill Tindall, E.Tn.

I have been turning the knobs and it did not start out well. Intend to carve the "wheat" pattern in the end so I am making flat face grain knobs. Turning these things with grain running orthogonal to normal spindle orientation has been a learning experience. Tool doesn't engage smoothly for the face cut and would like to run away up toward the head stock. Getting the lathe tool hand plane sharp improved the process and my frame of mind.

Under the lathe is beginning to look like one of David's planing experiments.
