The one with the barky stuff looks similar to the one I planed through, except there was no barky stuff in that one. Just the shiny smooth hard stuff.

This is a approx 50x and 100x for the closest of the three pictures. At least that's what the scope claims.

I can't get any bevel side pictures that show anything useful with this scope, so the testing has moved on to detecting 3v and v11 head to head on maple.

I would sharpen both of these on coarser diamonds if I used them regularly, only doing the very last bit of polishing on 1 micron. The wire edge is really tough on 3v and I hope this test turns out the same as the first or I may question whether or not it was fully removed before the first test commenced.
