Funny, cocobolo (purchased 20 years ago) is the only exotic I normally use (for strike buttons). I use it in such tiny quantities that issues of blade durability don't even come up. It's hard,but significantly less horrible on edges than the African blackwood. I really will be fine if I never use that stuff again!
