Subject:
small bites

Jack Guzman from Maine
I find that If I try to take a bigger piece with each chop I get more breaking out. Chop, back cut--chop,back cut. Flip it over. Repeat chop, back cut, etc. I almost always get some breakout/spelching in the center but if I take small bites it is minimal.
Sawing the baseline with a fret saw or like and paring the rest will totally eliminate any spelching.
