Depends on the thickness, but unless it's 0.01" or less (which I find doubtful) then no, K won't be anywhere near 0.5.

Why are you trying for a bend that tight in a cap iron? Are you trying to create the initial "breaking profile" by bending? If so then I suspect that you'll have trouble controlling the dimensions well enough for that to work, and that you'd do better bending a loose radius and then post-machining the "fine features" at the leading edge.

There's basically no bending moment on the leading edge of the cap iron, so you can thin it quite a bit by machining without sacrificing overall stiffness/preload.
