Interesting for a day-to-day approach with a scope.
But I must say I have never come across any woodworkers in person who check an edge with a scope after sharpening on a day-to-day basis. I think I saw David Charlesworth check his edge in a video (?), but wonder that is his regular routine; no other teachers I could recall from Paul Sellers to Rob Cosman to Frank Klausz checking a freshly honed edge with a lens.
