Should hold up fine at the same bevel angle as any other plane. I sharpen mine with a final bevel angle of 32 or 33 - I sharpen freehand so every plane iron is pretty much the same.

I've noticed that the parallel irons that have come in my infill, and that I have bought separately, are a click or two harder than the irons that I've gotten in wooden planes.
