Subject:
Rapid flatening of waterstone *PIC*

Bill Tindall, E.Tn.

I have a King that I use for kitchen knives. It was hollowed 1/8". I flooded an 80 grit sanding screen with water and rubbed the stone on the screen. In an amazing less than 5 min the hollow was gone.

These screens are silicon carbide which is harder than most abrasives other than diamond. The open mesh cuts fast. Now I have a red puddle on the driveway.
