Is the glue even necessary - I did my first set of drawbore M&T last night for my sawbench. The bench is made of Borg Doug fir and I made the pins out of white oak - rived and roughed to cylinders with a chisel. The first mark I made I clamped the joint to mark it and on the second I did not bother. I offset by 1/32 (I measured the first and eyeballed the second). No glue was used on either the tenon or pin and they went together beautifully. The pins were slightly tapered, I believe Warren recommended that.
