Subject:
Gluing tagua to wood *PIC*

CJ in MPLS
A long while ago I built a Limbert bookcase but cocked up the installation of the doors/lock. The doors and the lock work well, but with a small strip of wood placed over the gap between the doors, it became difficult to fit a brass around the keyhole in a way that would be pleasing to me; I just wasn't thinking ahead when I added that strip. What finally I did was to make a half skull out of tagua and use the eyehole as the keyhole.

I've had trouble getting the tagua to stick to the wood. Any recommendations on which glue to use? Also, what is a good glaze that I could use to highlight scratched lines in the tagua without dyeing the larger surface of the material?
