Subject:
Silly question of the week... eggbeater drill

Joe in a Cleveland suburb
I picked up a Miller Falls eggbeater drill over the summer at an antique shop. Cheap.

Cleaned it up, seems to work fine.

Question though, how are you supposed to tighten the chuck firmly on the drill bit? I almost need a third hand to hold the drill, the wheel, and tighten the chuck.

Oh, it didn't include original drill bits which I am thinking is part of the problem because (I think) they had flats on them to hold in the chuck better? Didn't they?

Thank you in advance.
