For more than three years I have now and than worked on this cabinet. My earlier creations have rightfully got som critics here for having too wild grain on the back boards. This time I really looked through my lumber pile, but there was nothing that did combine with this ash. So instead I used an old coffee jute sack streatched on a plywood board. It does not show so good on the photo, but at least it is a calm backside.
This time I have half blind dovetails for both the cabinet and drawers. I do admit that they are made with router. Wood R at has slim HSS dovetail bits that nearly look as hand cut. They cut very nice but are fragile - if you push a bit to fast they break....
