Subject:
Little desk

Clint Searl
I have a little maple school desk and chair manufactured in the '30s that was in my original grammar school. It's in great shape except for a big chain-bar oil stain soaked in the top of the desk. How can I eliminate the oil enough that the combo can be painted with a pigmented finish without the finish lifting?
