OT - carbide router bits and aluminum

Tim Greif - West of Chicago
I've used carbide tip saw blades to cut aluminum. Works very well. I have some rectangular aluminum tubes that I need to elongate the holes on. I'm thinking a straight carbide tip bit with a jig for my router will do the trick. Anyone ever try this?
