All the drawers are made from QS Sycamore, so nice creamy white flake with finger joint corners. They are about 1/16” shorter in height than the opening.

It appears that MaKay built his cabinet with the vertical joined in the middle with the shelf dividers added in between, I took a different approach. I first cut a dozen octagonal shelves then dadoed in from the corners for the vertical sides which were also dadoed to to hold the shelves at the right height. Then that was all trimmed out with pear wood.

The pie shaped drawers fronts were veneered with the Bubinga using epoxy for the adhesive, with spring clamps pressing a 1/2” mdf caul and 1/8” packing foam between it and the veneer.
