Michael, another vote for the Lee Valley brad points. Maybe 35+ years ago I bought a set of brad points from The Fine Tool Woodshops, Danbury, Conn. They have held up exceedingly well and are the ones I use for rough stuff. Gee. I bet I didn't pay more than $5 for the set!!
But for furniture-grade stuff, I pull out the LV brad points. Jim
