SHOP OWNER: David Worrell LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN These are photos of a Philadelphia style lowboy I recently finished. This was the project taught in a class I took at Marc Adams School of Woodworking in 2009 by Alf Sharp. Although it was a two-week class, it took me much longer to complete the carving and the finishing. ![]() The woods I used are mahogany and poplar. I used a gel stain to blend the colors of the two very different types of mahogany I was using. The finish is mostly garnet shellac. . . .
