Harold's Slant Front Desk
The perfect workspace for a pair of growing boys.

SHOP OWNER: Harold Washburn

After starting this desk for my grandsons, my work took me to Las Vegas for four months to do trim work. Thankfully I was able to get back in time to finish it before school.
Harold's Slant Front Desk
The casework, drawer fronts, and legs are from some poplar pallets I found. The drawers are pine. The exterior finish is sprayed brick red milk paint. The interior was sprayed with satin poly.
As I prefer to work with hand tools, the work was done using planes, molding planes, scrapers, and my trusty spring pole lathe.
