The elegant but useful answer to a need for a small table.

    My latest project was this Porringer corner table. This is of my own design and borrows elements from other tables of this type. I have not seen this type of table in a corner design and we have found it very useful in our home.
Corner Porringer Table
    The table holds special memories for me, as the top was made from closet shelving in my grandparent’s home. I'm not sure if it is red oak or chestnut. The remainder of the table is made from cherry.

    The table sits beside my easy chair to hold my coffee and remote control. Oh, by the way, that little drawer is a handy place to keep my spare reading glasses. I still have some of that old shelving left and believe I will make a couple more.
