My Masterpiece - The ultimate Harmonograph - DIY JIG

After a year of building only harmonographs, I have now completed my masterpiece. This harmonograph weighs, without water, only 3 kg. It consists of more than 250 individual parts, of which again more than 100 come from the 3d printer. The printing time for these parts is more than 40 hours.

What sounds strange at first becomes immediately understandable once you have seen it.

Gute Pinsel sind teuer. Richtig gute Pinsel sind richtig teuer. Umso interessanter ist es, dass es bis heute kaum eine vernünftige Möglichkeit gibt, diese richtig zu trocknen, nämlich senkrecht mit den Haaren nach unten hängend. Mit dem Pinselclip wird das jedoch zum Kinderspiel. Einfach den richtigen Clip auf den Pinsel stecken und schon kann er, genauso wie es sein soll, in jedes beliebige Gurkenglas gehängt werden.
Eine kleine Investition die sich vom ersten Moment mehr als bezahlt macht.

Ingenious bar compass from the 3D printer - DIY JIG

This bar compass is lighter and cheaper than any comparable one and it has the advantage that you can use any pen you like. Beside the parts from the 3D-printer you need an aluminium bar with 4 mm diameter, 2 Spax screws 3 x 12 and a M3 x 20 screw with nut.

Most tensegrity objects need a string in the middle and usually many more for stabilisation.
This headphone stand is different. It gets by with only one string, but it changes direction three times in the middle.
This not only provides great stability, but also makes twisting virtually impossible.
