All assembled. Will give the epoxy overnight to fully cure before boxing it up.

Yes, again, I have no skill at taking pictures. In the right light, as I think the side shot shows, the blue dyed quilted maple makes an excellent sea.

So Quilted Maple bowl/box, Alder lid with shell carved in it, Curly Maple for the palm tree trunk, painted with tea and fumed for 24 hours, Holly dyed green for the palm leaves, Bocote for the coconuts and the pin holding the palm leaves to the trunk.
