OK, hopefully I have the file sizes small enough. The bowl was fumed for 24 hours using household ammonia. The bowl is about 12.5" in diameter. (And, yes, I lack even basic photo skills.) Here goes.

Curly Maple bowl, fumed 24 hours and finished with Mahoney's Walnut Oil.
I think it appears somewhat darker in person and I was surprised at just how much the Maple darkened even without the tea. Must have had some level of tannin in it. I do like the results, which would be more apparent if I had any skill at photography.
