If Im going to talk about doing a Christmas ornament, I would state how easy it is to hollow it with my Hollowing system, and my laser measuring device. This is needed to get a nice light thin and even walled object to put on a tree. Most folks would stick a hand held tool in there blind and possibly get a catch. I even do small things with my system because of the laser and the fingertip control. My system can not get a catch and a 10 year old kid can do hollowing safely. There are a lot of ways to skin this cat, the process will need to describe the tools used. A Table saw is a table saw, a hollow form has many ways and different tools needed than a bowl or a finial. For you flat boarders a finial is the proper name of the icicle or dangle.
