I bought a box of end mills. Literally 7 pounds of them. 50 of them are 3/8" in diameter, about 12 are 1/2" and a few are 1/4". Some are double ended. Some have two flutes, some 3 and some 4. Some are coated with TiN.
So, what have I got? Can I use them as router bits? I tried to read about Feeds and Speeds but they waxed philosophical and I got lost.
How do I approach this? High speed and feel for the Feed? Have I Made a mistake? Are they for cutting metal and will not work well in wood?
