Hand Tools
For those who miss David's steel posts

Bruce McCrory
Joel Moskowitz over at Tools For Working Wood (TFWW) recently posted about their small batch tempering of tools made in-house, behind the store front, in his blog:

https://toolsforworkingwood.com/store/blog/1144/O1%20vs%20O1 O1 vs O1.

To achieve consistent temper at the best possible hrc (published) the process is labor intensive, expensive, and definitely not something they can trust to contractors--at this time.

Check it out and reaffirm David's own findings. It's quite interesting, also.
