And thanks for bringing this up, as this may effect others.
On the other site, you may have created a profile long ago, and your browser was then automatically filling in the password for you. We all tend for forget these passwords over time, and then when you came here, it was no longer filling that in for you, and you had to do it manually, if you remembered it.
There is no Forgot Password option here. If you encounter a case where you try to post, but it responds that you provided an invalid password, message me. I cannot tell you your password (it's encrypted) but I can reset it to something generic which I can provide you privately via email, and you can then change.
