Stanley #2 *PIC*

I have what "I believe" to be a Stanley #2 Smooth Plane (see attachment).  I received, from a friend, it in terrible condition (junkyard type rust) and have restored it, but the lever cap is broken.  Now I have been told these are incredibly difficult to obtain.  One option is to buy a #3 and grind it down, but I thought I would post and see if there is any availability.  Any comment are appreciated.  Thanks,  Mark
