Narex 1/8

Some of the best craftsmen here have consistently recommended having a 1/8" chisel. So, when I came across an unhandled chisel by Narex complete with brass ferrule and leather washer, I bought the package and turned a very simple (yet comfortable) handle.....and now, I too have this thin little tool in my chisel drawer.....

What is the best solvent for removing the protective coating on these tools??
