Pause or Clear Watch History<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pause Watch History<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/feed\/history\">YouTube History Controls<\/a> \u2192 <em>Manage All History<\/em> \u2192 <em>Controls<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle <strong>\u201cPause Watch History.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From then on, YouTube won\u2019t track what you watch for recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clear Watch History<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the same page, click <strong>\u201cClear all watch history.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This resets the algorithm, so it won\u2019t recommend based on your past.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.
