Here’s a brief update, with a bunch more photos, about our trip from Yoho National Park to Jasper, 250 km up the Icefields Parkway. Candy and I are sitting in a laundromat in Jasper as I write this. Whgen the laundry and blog are finished, we head over to Mt. Robson Provincial Park, our stopover between here and Prince George and points north.<\/p>\n\n\n

There was a major forest fire burning about 40 miles north of BAnff, forcing closure of the Parkway for several hourss per day. Smoke from the fire has spread over the entire region, obscuring the mountain views.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

The Maligne Lake delta, where the river enters Medicine Lake, was an awe inspiring place to visit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
