Yesterday, I was out at the Mac store getting a lesson, and am excited about what I'm learning. One little nice feature that I stumbled upon that is fun, is the simple screen saver.
I knew that it could be set to do a slide show of my pics before it went to sleep, but the nice young lady instructing me, was excited about my photos, and showed me the mosaic setting. In that setting, one of my images will show for a few seconds, then it starts moving back, as more of my shots are being revealed as it moves back getting smaller and smaller. As they move back these images seem to be grouped by color, then suddenly there is an outline, then like magic those shots are finally the pixels of the next image.
I thought I had it set for just my Nature macros, but it is using my whole library, which I'm actually liking better, in that it is pulling up shots and places that I had forgotten about. It is kinda like seeing the story of my life, as if each day was one card in a deck, and the deck gets shuffled, spread out, then shuffled again, over and over.
I'm mesmerized by it.
Just click on the Apple, System Preferences > Screen Saver >display > Display style > It is the little icon showing a display 3 across and 3 down, like a tick tac do board. Click it, then give it time to load pics while you get back to doing other things.
I like seeing it so much, I set it to come on after just 3 minutes of inactivity.
