We have a lens baby. I grew up as an Ansel Adams everything is sharp as a tac person and can't get used to nothing is sharp. Even the in focus area is very soft compared to a standard lens. You can change the plane of focus but still only one small area it more or less in focus. Also being as much of our photography has to go through the committee kind of editing anything artful is simply tossed by the all the non artists in the group. That's why most of the photos that come out of the University fit sort of the Hallmark stamp. Pretty, but don't say much.
