My first impression is that the image....

..is slightly underexposed, muting the color and contrast. Without knowing the actual color of the background, it's hard to judge color balance and exposure, and I suggest that you bracket exposures for a better selection. There is a minor color balance error from R to L side due to different light sources, the blue in the shadows on the L side and the apparent tungsten source on the R side. Manual focus would render more useable depth of field since the AUTO usually spots on the front of the turning rather than a point 1/3rd behind the front point. A diffused light source doesn't render as much contrast as a bounced source, and a more direct source also allows a bit more control over how much light falls on the background. F 25 huh!
