I think something that would be most instructive to people wanting to take good photos of their work would be actual photos of the studio setup you used in each case. I have been taking photos for magazines and portfolios for decades, but I'm still flummoxed by lighting, backgrounds and reflections. I don't own a softbox or even a tent or a Phrugal enclosure like Jamie has illustrated in the past, and I don't really know the vocabulary of those lighting arrangements.
This would be the kind of tutorial I'd be interested in.
