..a light background it's hard to tell much, but it appears to be fuzzy focus in all 3 frames? Shoot a darker wood piece as a test, and are you manually focusing? Your exposure setting of +1/3~1/2 may be most accurate for your camera, so keep using that setting to eliminate variables for testing purposes.
