Before tonight, I would have said, if asked, that acetone is more dangerous than DNA. Now I'm not so sure. Some quick online "research" shows that both methanol and acetone have about the same exposure levels, and many feel that methanol is somewhat more dangerous. OTOH, DNA is mostly ethanol with a bit of methanol added, so it seems to me that it's roughly a dead heat. Pick your poison. ...GG
