slanted ring bowl *PIC*

Man was this hard to hollow. Well it was segmented rings so it was basically hollow to begin with but truing up the inside was really rough. for the first 2" you only hit wood with about 3" of the whole travel. man did it take concentration to keep the gouge cutting smoothly. For the rest of the bowl you still had to pretend there was a lip that was about 4" in diameter even though you couldn't see it. challenging but may never to another one. Each ring was tapered and I put the small end on the same side as I was building up the bowl.
