I don't think the hollowing tools necessarily dictate round corners. I created an expanded Oneway grinder platform with a piece of 1/4" aluminum screwed on to the original Oneway platform and topped with Formica type stuff.
This gives you much broader support for bringing hollowing tools to the wheel -- that's a Trent Bosch tool in the photo, meeting a wheel with the short square sides. The rounded sides might be nicer but this does work.

Grits: 60 for quick removal of metal to change a tool's shape, 600 for usual sharpening. The 60 grit is a recent addition since I bought mine, and there's now a 1000. For a long time I had 80 and 350 and thought that was pretty nice.
