If you don't grind small hollowing cutters permanently fastened to long shafts the CBN wheels with the square corners have a couple of advantages. With out the rounded edges the give a little more working width. The square corners can be used for grinding special tools. I buy the wheels from Rizza with 1" of grit down the sides. in addition to the square edges.

If you have hollowing cutters that can be removed from the tools such as those the other Jordan sells, they can be sharpened on the wheels without rounded edges.

If you have the 3/4 hp no-name grinder from WoodCraft it will easily power two CBN wheels or one CBN and one conventional wheel.
