Turning

Killing time *PIC*

Sometimes I just need a quick break in the shop. So when that happens I just turn a few mirrors. They are quick and easy and I can relax just turn them. Here are the latest 2. The left one was maple with a big hole in the board around a knot. So I cut a mirror blank out of that section and filled it with dark brown expoxy. The other one I thought was walnut but it was much harder so I don't know what kind of wood it was. Walnut will usually take that airbrush texture much deeper and the Dremel Engraver scribbles would also be much more pronounced. Still looks good.
