Yours is what Richard Raffan calls a containing bowl, with a smaller diameter rim, which does not lend itself to mass production methods. The other is ever increasing diameter, which is more likely capable of mass production. But the other is laminated, which takes more time and materials. Wonder how much the other was priced before the tariff wars?
