Re: Sealing end grain with glue?

Sorry, I had just answered a question on gluing and misread your post thinking you were gluing end grain to end grain. I have done tests on sealing wood with glue. It works OK but not as well as Anchorseal or Parrafin wax. Better than Latex paint however. I find the glue starts peeling up after several months. Latex paint didn't peel up but the wood simply started cracking. The Parrafin wax starts peeling after about a year. Anchorseal just keeps hanging in there.
