That is what I meant, I was trying to keep the shaft horizontal and had the cutter rotated counterclockwise. I do suspect that I dipped below horizontal a time or two but the cutter was never flat... I also may have been too aggressive in cutting and looking inside the surface is really rough with a lot of long fibers sticking/torn out.
