...I end seal in log sections when possible. I don't like to turn any wood wet enough to spit on me, then it's too wet to sand and finish. If ready to store wet for bowl blanks, saw the pith out of it and then seal end grain. It is an excellent turning wood, and retains bark very well for bark edge bowls.
