Hi Gary.

I have the $20 Harbor Freight airbrush to apply diluted lacquer (50:50) to my work. It works very well especially after I learned how to use it properly. You can apply ten or more very thin coats in a hour or so and end up with a nice finish that buffs out to a smooth luster. Just be aware that lacquer and lacquer thinner will degrade plastic so make sure you add a glass vial if you intend on leaving the lacquer or thinner in it. Otherwise, just make sure it is dry before you put it away.

Bob.
