Subject:
Inspirations for shapes and textures

Charlie belden
Stumbled on this in a TED talk on microscopic photography

Looking at the “catalog” images I could see all kinds of familiar forms. But the idea of combining or stacking interesting forms in a single piece hadn’t occurred to me before. Then I got into individual insects and various details that only become apparent when you zoom in had my head spinning with texture ideas.

Check it out and maybe get some ideas for a future turning.
